Frequently Asked Questions

It is completely normal to have questions, especially if this is your first retreat.

Our retreats are created for beginners and designed to feel warm, supportive and welcoming from the start.

You do not need experience or flexibility. Come exactly as you are and give yourself space to breathe, rest and reconnect.

If you have any questions, please reach out. We are always happy to help.

Are your retreats suitable for beginners?

Yes — absolutely.

Our retreats are created for beginners, so you do not need any previous experience with yoga, meditation, breathwork, or retreats to join us.

Everything is guided in a gentle and supportive way, with space to move at your own pace and settle in comfortably.

Do I need to join every session?

Not at all.

Everything is optional. This is your retreat, and you are always welcome to listen to your body and take the experience in the way that feels right for you.

If you want to rest, sleep in, spend time by the ocean, or skip a session, that is completely okay.

What styles of yoga are included?

Our retreats include a gentle mix of Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, meditation, breathwork, and gentle Kundalini-inspired practices.

Everything is designed to feel accessible and supportive, especially if you are new to these practices.

I’m not very flexible — can I still come?

Yes — absolutely.

You do not need to be flexible to join us. So many people think flexibility is the point of yoga, but it is not.

Yoga is about connection, awareness, and being with yourself. Please do not feel insecure about flexibility — you are welcome exactly as you are.

Are flights included?

No — international and domestic flights are not included.

Guests book their own flights, and we are happy to guide you on the best route and arrival process.

What kind of accommodation is included?

We offer beautiful accommodation chosen to help you feel comfortable, rested, and cared for throughout your stay.

Depending on the retreat, room options may include shared or private accommodation.

Can I come alone?

Yes — absolutely.

Many of our guests come solo, especially if it is their first retreat.

Our retreats are designed to feel warm, welcoming, and supportive, so you can come on your own and still feel held in a beautiful group experience.

What meals are included?

Yes — all meals are included in your retreat package.

The style of food may vary depending on the retreat location, but we always aim for meals to feel nourishing, enjoyable and suited to different preferences.

On our Andaman Islands retreats, guests can choose what they would like to eat, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available.

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Do you only create retreats for women?

Some of our retreats are women-only, and some are open to everyone.

Our Cornwall retreat is created as a women’s retreat, offering a safe and soulful space for women to rest, reconnect and return to themselves.

Our Andaman Islands retreats are open to everyone who feels aligned with the experience. We aim to create a warm, inclusive and judgement-free space where every guest feels welcome, safe and able to come exactly as they are.

What if I feel nervous coming on my own?

Yes, completely. Many of our guests come alone, so you will not be the only one arriving by yourself.

It is very normal to feel nervous at first, especially if this is your first retreat or you are travelling somewhere new. We understand how big it can feel to say yes to something like this.

From the moment you arrive, we will do our best to make you feel welcome, supported and at ease. There will be time to connect with others, but also space to be with yourself when you need it.

Our retreats are gentle, friendly and judgement-free, so you do not need to worry about fitting in, knowing anyone, or being “good” at yoga.

You can come exactly as you are.

Do I need a visa for India?

Yes — most guests will need an Indian e-Tourist visa before travelling.

For most guests, the 30-day e-Tourist visa will be the right option. This can be applied for through the official Government of India visa website, and we recommend applying around 2 to 3 weeks before travel so everything feels simple and in place before you leave.

Your passport should usually have at least 6 months validity from the date you arrive in India, so it is worth checking this early as part of your travel planning.

If this is your first time organising a trip like this, please do not worry — we are always happy to guide you through the process and help make things feel a little easier along the way.

To make the process feel easier, we will also send out a simple guide to help you apply for your Indian visa.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. A deposit is paid when booking to secure your place. The remaining balance is paid by bank transfer and must be completed 6 weeks before the retreat.

If you’d like to discuss a different payment plan, please email us and we’ll do our best to support you.

Is the deposit refundable?

No — deposits are non-refundable and secure your place on the retreat.

Is the retreat refundable?

All retreat payments are non-refundable.

If you can no longer attend, your booking may be transferred to another person or a future retreat date depending on the circumstances.

What currency are payments processed in?

All payments are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Prices may also be shown in GBP for convenience.

How many guests will be on the retreat?

We keep our retreats intimate, with guest numbers depending on the retreat and location.

Most of our retreats have a maximum of 12 guests, so the experience can feel more personal, supportive and connected.

This allows everyone to feel seen, welcomed and held, while still having space to move through the retreat at their own pace.

Will there be free time?

Yes — definitely.

There is plenty of space to rest, explore, swim, journal, or simply enjoy the beauty of the islands or the coast and take time for yourself.

What if I’ve never meditated or done breathwork before?

That is completely okay.

Our retreats are created for beginners, and all practices are guided in a simple, gentle, and supportive way.

How do I book?

You can book through the retreat page on our website.

If you have any questions before booking, please feel free to reach out — we are always happy to help.

“Perfect for Beginners”

“I joined the class because I wanted to do something for myself. I’m quite a nervous person and can easily feel intimidated, especially when a teacher stops the whole class to help me.

The way the girls teach is so much better suited for beginners. One keeps the class flowing while the other quietly offers support, so I never felt put on the spot. It made such a difference.

I absolutely loved yin — it became something I genuinely looked forward to every week.”

“I Didn’t Know How Much I Needed This”

“I did a weekend retreat with the girls in Heathcote. I’d never done yoga before — to be honest, my sister-in-law dragged me along! But wow… I’m so glad she did.

As a new mum, I didn’t realise how much I needed that time out. I loved the meditations, especially the silent walking one, and kundalini was such a surprise — my mind is always busy, and it really helped me switch off.

I’ve taken some of the practices home with me and even joined a yoga studio where I live now. So grateful I went — thank you girls!”

“Spot on-- Just what I needed”

“I was new to yoga and travelling on holiday when I found Tiffany and Melissa’s studio near my hotel, so I thought I’d give it a go and booked a private session. I’m really glad I did.

Since retiring from the ambulance service, I’ve realised how much yoga helps me slow down and properly relax. The 90-minute class with meditation, yin and yoga nidra was spot on — just what I needed.

I didn’t want to stop practicing just because I was away, so I really appreciated them fitting me in. We had a good chat about life too, which made it all feel easy and comfortable.

The girls are down to earth and easygoing. It was refreshing. I’d happily recommend them.”
